What are the advantages of entrusting our marketing to

directly ourselves?
Position yourself to take advantage of our networking and
economies of scale and gain access to an enormous client
base which you would otherwise not be able to cover. We
work closely on your behalf with travel agents, tour operators,
as well as special groups such as schools and sports teams.
We also give you exposure on popular internet-based travel
site You Pick the Price.Com and represent your hotel at more
traditional hotel trade conventions, such as Rendezvous Canada
and Canada Marketplace. Market more effectively to both leisure
and corporate travel and do so at a fraction of what it would cost
you to market directly.
How do we know exactly what SMS is doing for us?
We keep you informed by way of comprehensive monthly
reports generated on the 1st of each month. The aforientioned
reports detail all contacts made by SMS on behalf of your hotel in
the previous month and provide a look forward at the strategy for
the following month, as well as a sample of the upcoming promotions.
These reports submitted directly to your GM and are open for analysis
and discussion with SMS so that you play an active role in deciding
how to best promote your hotel.
How do you know what rates to sell our rooms at?
You will fill out an online questionnaire denoting all of your Hotel’s
information and your full range of rates for all seasons for each
of the following:
- Tour Operators
- Sports Groups
- Corporate
- Leisure
To succeed, it is vital that your rates are current and accurate,
and not higher than rates offered directly to clients. We will be
in regular contact with your GM and Sales Staff and you will have
opportunities to offer specials throughout the year.
